is licensed to practice law in both Idaho and Ohio. He was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and attended Idaho Falls High School, graduating in 2000. Lane attended one year at Utah State University before interrupting his education to serve a two year Spanish speaking mission in Cincinnati, Ohio. He resumed his education at Utah State University in 2003 and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2005.
Lane attended law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law from 2007 to 2010, during which he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and was a member and citations editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review. Lane graduated Cum Laude in 2010. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2010 and the Idaho Bar in April 2011.

In 2011, Lane moved from Cincinnati back to Idaho Falls and joined Nalder Law Office, P.C. as an Associate Attorney. In 2018 Lane became a partner in Nalder & Blake, PLLC where he remained until the end of 2024.

In 2025 Lane founded Blake Law Office, PLLC and continues to provide experienced legal service in Eastern Idaho.

Lane’s practice areas include personal injury, family law, probate and estates, and general business litigation. He is an active member of the Idaho State Bar Association. Lane A. Blake was named by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as a 2015 Top 10 Under 40 personal injury attorney for the State of Idaho and was named by The National Trial Lawyer’s Association as a Top 40 Under 40 trial attorney practicing in civil plaintiff litigation in Idaho.
